At the 2026 SIRHA Budapest trade fair at Hungexpo, we provided the furniture setup for the Caffè Vergnano brand coffee stand, where the goal was to create a clean, premium, industrial-loft-style hospitality space.
The stand combined multiple functions: a tasting zone, a lounge area, and an educational presentation space, all of which required flexible and visually coherent furnishing solutions.
The following Torter products were used in the space:
- VIP armchair for lounge and guest reception areas
- Loft outdoor bar stool placed next to tasting counters
- Grey chair for educational and presentation zones
- Loft dining table for communal and tasting setups
- Loft square balustrade as quick interaction points
- Loft coffee table as a lounge support element
The furniture created a cohesive, modern industrial character that aligned with the premium identity of the Caffè Vergnano Italian coffee brand.
One of the key highlights of the stand was the Caffè Vergnano Barista Championship, which served as the Hungarian stop of the international competition series and also as a qualifier for the world final in Turin.
The competition aimed to promote professional development, education, and high-quality coffee culture. Baristas competed across multiple categories, including espresso and cappuccino preparation, signature drink development, and blind tasting challenges testing sensory skills. The event functioned simultaneously as a competition, an educational platform, and a brand experience, reinforcing Caffè Vergnano’s mission to promote Italian espresso culture internationally.
