Organised on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Mór Jókai and the founding of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Petőfi Literary Museum presents the exhibition The Comet, Whose Own Flame Carries Him into the Infinite. The exhibition reveals an exciting layer of Jókai’s works, where scientific discoveries and technological innovations appear not only as themes, but as shaping forces in manuscripts, letters, illustrations and first editions.
